Alaska Elopement Planner
As Deanna and Scott began planning their wedding from Michigan, they quickly realized they needed an Alaska elopement planner. Since they decided to elope with no guests, they wanted to keep their wedding day and planning as stress-free as possible. Even with an elopement, they still wanted fun and personal wedding elements. It was important to have a meaningful ceremony, lush florals, a great meal, and of course, cake!
These two really wanted to embody living life to the fullest and experience that through their elopement. Even if it’s just the two of you, an elaborate elopement can be an incredible way to celebrate.
Aurora
They knew they wanted to see the Northern Lights and had scheduled an additional day to take photo with Donna at Donna Marie Photography. So once they were out, they headed to Hater Pass to adventure with a photoshoot under the Northern Lights. The photos are absolutely magical!

Getting Ready
Their wedding day began with getting ready at their Airbnb. The couple chose to spend the morning together. However, they elected not to do a first look. They saw each other fully ready for the first time as their intimate ceremony began.
They included many personalized details and one of the most important was the painted rock with their wedding date. Painting rocks was a special thing that Deanna did with her dad and they included some that they painted in their wedding day to honor her dad.

Ceremony
As an experienced Alaska elopement planner, we have planned many elopements and we fully take care of the set up, logistics, and all the details. We were able to set up everything needed for the ceremony while the couple was getting ready. We carefully selected Honeybloom Floral to achieve their floral goals. Melissa created the most romantic and stunning florals which was an important element for the couple. The groom walked in first followed by a traditional bridal entrance to the song “Take My Hand”. During the ceremony, they read their own vows which led to a few tears as well as a few laughs. Then of course, they sealed the ceremony with a kiss.

Helicopter
Following the ceremony it was time for the biggest adventure of the day – their helicopter tour! If you are eloping in Alaska, this is one of the coolest things you can do. It is an adventure of a lifetime! Plus, having your wedding photos set in these priceless Alaska views is even more incredible.
As an Alaska elopement planner, we are able to provide the best recommendations for YOU and what you envision for your day. We thoughtfully found all of the vendors to make this portion of the day happen and to ensure the couple was comfortable. The helicopter tour was amazing for these two! And since we are experienced in Alaska, we know exactly what you will need. From hand warmers, to the right gear, to your personal things like signage and sunglasses, we take care of it. We handle all of this so you don’t even have to think about it and can simply enjoy your day while out experiencing Alaska.

Dinner
While Deanna and Scott were having their epic helicopter tour, we were back at the Airbnb setting up for their intimate dinner. Even though it was just the two of them, we wanted to make it as magical as a full wedding reception. The stunning florals from the ceremony continued along with a luxe green velvet linen. Then we added personal touches and romantic candlelight for a perfect evening.
We set up a custom mocktail bar that was curated specifically for the couple. It featured lots of fresh fruit and fun ice cubes. Even with a mocktail, you can make it just as special and unique as any cocktail! A private chef (Wes, with Masters Catering) catered an incredible meal that included Alaskan King Crab, another perk of eloping how you want! Before the meal, the couple shared their first dance to “Grow Old” by Florida Georgia Line. Later they changed into their matching pajamas, enjoyed their wedding cake, and played Mario Cart! A very unique and perfect ending to their Alaska elopement!

Wishing these two all the happiness in the world and we can’t thank them enough for this kind review on their planning experience with us!
“Deanna and I decided that we wanted a destination elopement in Alaska, so we figured we better find a wedding panner based IN Alaska! Deanna found Saige, and from the first emails and zoom call, we knew Saige would be the one to plan our elopement. Neither of us had ever been to Alaska before, and Saige went above and beyond to help us figure out the perfect location for the ceremony, places to see, things to do, people to contact, etc. Without Saige, we would have been lost and overwhelmed. She made this process so easy for us and so stress-free (which was the biggest thing we wanted out of the whole experience).
All of Saige’s recommendations were wonderful and hit it out of the park. And anytime we needed something changed, Saige was extremely accommodating and handled it fast and professionally. Saige takes what she does seriously. She sent us a questionnaire to fill out and send back to her in order to get to know us better and to better personalize our elopement day. Between doing this and being a softball coach, she still managed to make time to meet with us and promptly reply to our emails.
Once she got to know us more she put together a plan for us for our elopement day that best fit our wants and needs. And even on the day of our elopement, while we were off having a great time flying around to different glaciers in a helicopter taking wedding photos (one of her recommendations), Saige stayed behind at the Airbnb (our venue) and whipped it into shape for our return so we could have our wedding dinner and first dance.
Since we eloped and didn’t have any guests, we offered Saige to come stay at the Airbnb the night before so she didn’t have to get up as early and drive all the way there, to which she accepted our invite. That was one of our favorite parts because it gave us all a chance to sit down and hang out in person and it not having to be “business” so to speak. We could not have asked for a better person to handle everything we threw at her, and if we had to do it all over again, we would have found and hired Saige sooner! Thank you Saige, for everything you did for us and beyond!!”
